Four IAS officers reshuffled in Assam
Guwahati: Four Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers have been reshuffled in Assam with immediate effect. According to an official order, Dr Om Prakash, 2006-batch IAS officer, has been transferred and posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Agriculture Department. He will also have the additional charge of the Environment and Forest Department.
Anusua Dutta Barua, an IAS officer non-SCS batch, has been transferred and assigned the charge of Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs. Varshaty Das, also an IAS officer in a non-SCS batch, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Soil Conservation Department.
Sadnek Singh, an IAS officer of 2014 batch, will take over the charge of Additional Secretary, Transformation and Development Department, as per the official order.
