Massive administrative reshuffle in Rajasthan

Jaipur: The Rajasthan Government has carried out a massive administrative reshuffle in the state by transferring as many as 29 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers including three District Collectors. Veena Pradhan has been appointed Commissioner of Departmental Inquiries while Home Secretary Kailash Chand Meena is new Divisional Commissioner of Jodhpur.

Tina Dabi, 2015 batch IAS topper, has been posted as the 65th Collector of Jaisalmer. Presently she is working as Joint Secretary, Finance, Tax. Her husband Pradeep Gawande has been appointed Managing Director, Rajasthan State Mineral Corporation. Riya Dabi, younger sister of Tina Dabi, is also an IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre.

SPs of 10 districts including Udaipur were transferred in the list issued by the department late on Thursday night. Udaipur IG Hinglaj Dan was removed and posted as IG civil rights. Praful Kumar, IG ATS was made the new IG of Udaipur. SP Udaipur Manoj Kumar was transferred to the second battalion of Rajasthan Armed Constabulary (RAC) in Kota.

Vikas Kumar, who was Ajmer SP, will now take charge of the new SP in Udaipur. Jodhpur Police Commissioner Navjyoti Gogoi was transferred to Rajasthan Police Academy (RPA) as IG Ravi Dutt Gaur, IG Kota, was made the new Police Commissioner of Jodhpur. DCP Jodhpur East Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav was shifted to 9th Battalion of RAC in Tonk.

Karauli SP Shailendra Singh Indolia was shifted to RPA as deputy director. Karauli had also witnessed communal tension in April. Dholpur SP Narayan Togas was made the new Karauli SP. /BI/
