New Delhi: Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE) has signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Apollo Micro Systems (AMS) to collaborate on the research, development, and production of advanced defence and electronic systems. The partnership focuses on the joint development and supply of underwater weapons and vehicles, underwater mines, communication systems, and air defence systems.

The collaboration aims to create innovative technologies and enhance the manufacturing capabilities of both companies to produce critical components and sub-assemblies. This will include services for the modernisation and upgrading of existing systems to meet evolving defence requirements.

In addition to defence applications, the MoU also covers the supply of advanced weapons and electronic systems for non-defence sectors. Through this partnership, GRSE and AMS aim to strengthen India’s defence capabilities and contribute to the global defence and technology markets.
