New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Sivakumar V Vepakomma, Chief General Manager (CGM) of NTPC Green Energy Limited, NTPC Limited, to the post of Director (Power System), Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).

Sivakumar V Vepakomma was currently serving as Chief General Manager (CGM) at NTPC Green Energy Limited, NTPC Limited. He is set to serve in the new position from the date he assumes charge until the date of his superannuation, i.e., 31st August 2028, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. 

Solar Energy Corporation of India Ltd (SECI) is a Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the administrative control of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). The company serves as one of the nodal agencies for the implementation of several MNRE schemes. Additionally, SECI has ventured into solar project development on a turnkey basis for various PSUs/Government departments. /BI
