THDCIL and Tata Power-DDL collaborate for skill development in energy sector

New Delhi: THDC India Ltd (THDCIL), a state-owned enterprise, and Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd (Tata Power-DDL) have partnered to enhance skill training in the energy sector, addressing the growing manpower demand in domestic and global markets.

 

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Praveen Agrawal, Chief of HR, IR, Facility Management & Health Services, Tata Power-DDL, and AN Tripathy, General Manager (HR & A), THDCIL, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.

 

The collaboration aims to develop a skilled workforce through advanced training programs focusing on key areas such as smart grids, grid automation, and emerging technologies. The initiative will utilize the HRD Takshshila – SLCDC in Rishikesh and Tata Power-DDL’s Learning Centre in Delhi to deliver these programs.

 

This partnership aligns with efforts to create a robust talent pool for the evolving energy sector and bolster India’s position in the international market. Tata Power-DDL is a joint venture between Tata Power and the Government of NCT of Delhi.
