Amravati: In a recent move, the Andhra Pradesh Government has shifted 11 IPS officers.
A Ravi Shankar, a 1994-batch IPS officer, will now serve as Commissioner of Police in Visakhapatnam, taking over from CM Thrivikrama Varma, a 2005-batch IPS officer who has been appointed as Inspector General of Police for the Special Protection Force (SPF).
Kumar Vishwajeet, another 1994-batch IPS officer, has been given the charge of Additional Director General of Vigilance and Enforcement and Ex Officio Principal Secretary of the General Administration (Vigilance & Enforcement) Department. Siddharth Kaushal, who was Superintendent of Police of Octopus, has been moved to the role of Superintendent of Police in Kadapa district, replacing K.K.N. Anburajan.
Mr. Anburajan, in turn, has been posted as Superintendent of Police of Anantapur district, taking over from K. Srinivasa Rao, who has been transferred as DCP (Law and Order) in Visakhapatnam.
Additionally, Vasana Vidhya Sagar Naidu, formerly DCP (L&O) in Visakhapatnam, has been posted as Superintendent of Police, Greyhounds. Krishna Rao Boddepalli, who was Superintendent of Police for the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police in Annamayya district, replacing R. Gangadhar Rao, who has been posted as Commandant of the 14th Battalion in Anantapur.
Moreover, Adnan Nayeem Asmi, previously the Group Commander of Greyhounds, has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police in the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), and P. Jagadeesh has been appointed as Superintendent of Police in East Godavari district.
