16 IAS Officers in Uttar Pradesh appointed as Joint Magistrates

Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Yogi Adityanath, has chosen 16 IAS officers from the 2021 batch to serve as Joint Magistrates in different districts. The decision is part of a plan to give these officers, recently assigned to Uttar Pradesh, hands-on experience in various administrative roles.

Jagriti Awasthi is now the Joint Magistrate in Prayagraj, while Ankita Jain has taken on the role in Kushinagar. Other appointments include Sarthak Agarwal as Joint Magistrate in Varanasi, Shashwat Tripurari in Mathura, and Krishna Kumar Singh in Jhansi.

Divya Mishra has been assigned as Joint Magistrate in Bijnor, Prakhar Kumar Singh in Kanpur City, and Rallapalli Jagat Sai in Barabanki. Mrinali Avinash Joshi will serve as Joint Magistrate in Gorakhpur, Pooja Gupta in Ghaziabad, Dhruv Khadia in Ayodhya, and Kriti Raj in Firozabad.

Shahid Ahmed will undertake responsibilities as Joint Magistrate in Basti, Kandarkar Kamal Kishore in Meerut, and Harshika Singh in Chandauli. Himanshu Gupta will assume duties as Joint Magistrate in Unnao.
