Ahmedabad: The Gujarat government has shifted 23 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers with immediate effect. M Thennarsan has been posted as new Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner, while Sandip Sagale is the new Municipal Commissioner of Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation.

RA Merja has been appointed the District Collector of Bhavnagar. Merja was promoted to the IAS cadre from the State Civil Service in October 2020. District Collectors of Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Anand, Dang, Tapi, Kutch, Mahisagar and Morbi have also been transferred.

Dhavalkumar Patel is the new Collector of Ahmedabad district, while Industries Commissioner Rahul Gupta will hold the additional charge of GIDC. BK Pandya has been posted as DC of Mahisagar. BR Dave is the new District Collector of Tapi.

Kutch District Collector DK Praveena has been appointed as the new Collector of Gandhinagar. Dilip Rana is the new Kutch Collector. DS Gadhvi has been appointed the District Collector of Anand, while GT Pandya is the new Collector of Morbi. /BI/
