74 IAS officers reshuffled in Rajasthan

Jaipur: A massive reshuffle in administration was carried out by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot led Rajasthan Government on Monday night. As many as 74 officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) were reshuffled.

There were two lists of transfers. According to the transfer list of 59 officers issued by the Department of Personnel, the districts whose collectors were changed included Barmer, Alwar, Ajmer, Jhunjhunu and Bharatpur. Divisional Commissioners of Kota and Ajmer were also changed.

Senior IAS officer Kunji Lal Meena, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department, has been posted as Director General, Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Institute, while Veenu Gupta has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary Industries and Commerce.

According to the official list, Subodh Agrawal has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Delhi and Shubhra Singh as Additional Chief Secretary, Medical and Health Department. Alok Gupta is the new Principal Secretary to the Governor.

The responsibility of the post of Commissioner of Jaipur Development Authority has been handed over to Jogaram. Pratibha Singh has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Kota and Chauthi Ram Meena as the new Divisional Commissioner of Ajmer.

According to an official order, Alok Ranjan has been posted as new Collector of Jhalawar, while Pukhraj Sain of Alwar. Arun K Purohit is the new Collector of Barmer, Dr Bharti Dixit of Ajmer, Khushal Yadav of Jhunjhunu and Lok Bandhu of Bharatpur.

Balotra, Sanchor, Kuchaman-Didwana, Kekari, Kotputli- Behror, Neemkathana, Gangapur City, Anupgarh, Deeg, Khairthal, Phalodi, Salumber, Shahpura, Beawar and Dudu have got new Officers on Special Duty (OSDs). They are IAS officers of different batches. /BI/
