Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has appointed Roshan P Kanay, an IPS officer of 2009 batch, Superintendent of Police (SP), Logistics at the Director General of Police (DGP) headquarters in the state capital. In all, nine IPS officers have been transferred.

As per the government order, Shivhari Meena, an IPS officer of 2010 batch, has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jhansi, while Sudha Singh of 2011 batch has been appointed SP, Mahoba. Ashok Kumar IV has been given the charge of SP, Firozabad.

Ashok Kumar Rai, a 2011 batch IPS officer, is the new SP of Mainpuri, while Ajai Kumar of 2011 batch will take over as SP, Hardoi. Arun Kumar Srivastava will assume the post of Commandant, 48th Battalion PAC, Sonbhadra.

Anurag Vasta, as IPS officer of 2013 batch, has been made Commandant, 9th Battalion PAC, Moradabad. Avinash Panday of 2015 batch will take over as Commandant, 4th Battalion PAC, Prayagraj. /BI/
