New Delhi: Senior bureaucrat Amrit Lal Meena has taken over the charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Coal here. Prior to assuming the present post, Meena was holding the charge of Special Secretary, Logistics, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry.

Earlier, Meena, 1989 batch IAS officer of Bihar, was holding the charge of Special Secretary, Logistics, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. He took over from Dr Anil Kumar Jain who superannuated from service as Secretary, Coal on October 31, 2022. /BI/
