Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has given additional responsibilities to as many as 14 officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) with immediate effect. According to official details, Mayur Mehta, Member Secretary, Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board, has got additional charge of CEO of Water and Sanitation Management Organisation (WASMO).

Arun Mahesh Babu, Managing Director, Uttar Gujarat Vij Company, will also have the charge of MD, Gujarat Power Corporation Ltd, while DP Desai, Chief Executive Officer of Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA), has been given the charge of CEO of Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA).

Videh Khare, Mission Director of Gujarat State Electronics Mission at Gandhinagar, will hold the additional charge as Mission Director, Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission. BA Shah, District Collector of Jamnagar, has been given the additional charge of Commissioner, Jamnagar Municipal Corporation.

Yogesh Chaudhary, Managing Director of Dakshin Gujarat Vij Company at Surat, will hold the additional post of Chief Executive Officer, Surat Urban Development Authority. BR Dave, Secretary, Gujarat State Human Rights Commission at Gandhinagar, will hold the additional charge of Managing Director, Gujarat Women Economic Development Corporation Ltd.

As per the media reports, PJ Bhagdev, Regional Commissioner of Municipalities, Bhavnagar, will hold the additional charge as MD of Alcock Ashdown (Gujarat) Ltd which is an inactive government public sector entity. /BI/
