New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension to two senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Pawan Kumar Sain, currently working as a Joint Secretary, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM), has got the extension for a period of one year.

Similarly, K Moses Chalai, currently on central deputation and serving as Secretary, North Eastern Council, has been granted extension till 31.5.23 or until further notice.

Meanwhile, K Balaji, an IAS officer of 2010 batch of UP cadre, has been appointed private Secretary to Union Minister for Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region G Kishan Reddy in the Ministry of Tourism at the level of Deputy Secretary. /BI/
