Chhattisgarh government transfers 11 IAS officers

Raipur: The Chhattisgarh government has transferred 11 IAS officers to new positions, implementing a reshuffle within its administrative cadre.

 

S. Jayavardhan, an IAS officer from the 2014 batch, has been appointed as the new Collector of Surajpur, while Kumar Bishwranjan, a 2020 batch IAS officer and CEO of Dantewada District Panchayat, has been reassigned to the Ministry as Deputy Secretary. His position as CEO of Dantewada will now be filled by Jayant Nahta, a 2021 batch IAS officer and current SDM.

 

In another notable shift, Jashpur Collector Ravi Mittal, a 2016 batch IAS officer, has been appointed Commissioner of the Public Relations Department, with additional responsibilities as CEO of Samvad and Project Director of the Chirag Project. Mayank Srivastava, the current Public Relations Commissioner, will move to the Home Department.

 

The reshuffle also includes the replacement of Surajpur Collector Rohit Vyas, a 2017 batch IAS officer, who has been transferred to become the new Collector of Jashpur. This follows changes in both the Collector and Superintendent of Police in Surajpur.

 

Tulika Prajapati, a 2016 batch IAS officer and current Director of Women and Child Development, will take over as the new Collector of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki, replacing S. Jayavardhan. Other key changes include Janmejaya Mahobe, a 2022 batch IAS officer, who will assume additional charge as Director of Women and Child Development. Jagdish Sonkar, a 2013 batch IAS officer and Managing Director of the National Health Mission, has been reassigned to the Ministry.

 

Vijay Dayaram K., a 2015 batch IAS officer and CEO of the State Skill Development Agency, has been given additional responsibilities as Managing Director of the National Rural Health Mission. Meanwhile, Pratishtha Mamgain, a 2018 batch IAS officer and Commissioner of Korba Municipal Corporation, has been appointed as the new CEO of Bastar District Panchayat.
