Chennai: Four senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have been transferred in Tamil Nadu with immediate effect.

As per an order issued from the office of Additional Chief Secretary K Phanindra Reddy, Abhay Kumar Singh, presently ADGP, CB-CID, has been posted as ADGP, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC).

According to the order, G Venkataraman, ADGP, Headquarters, Chennai, has been posted as ADGP in the CB-CID. B Bala Naga Devi, ADGP, Operations, has been posted as ADGP, Headquarters.

H M Jayaram, ADGP, Armed Police, has been ordered to hold the additional charge of the post of ADGP, Operations, said the order. /BI/
