Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has transferred and posted 16 Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service (HPAS) officers with immediate effect, assigning new responsibilities across district administrations, municipal corporations, government departments and public sector organisations.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel on July 6, Kumar, HPAS (2009), Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development)-cum-Project Director, DRDA, Kullu, has been posted as Project Officer, Integrated Tribal Development Project (ITDP), Keylong, Lahaul and Spiti.
Ekta Kapta, HPAS (2011), Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Solan, has been appointed Additional Director, Medical Education and Research, Shimla.
Sanjeev Kumar-I, HPAS (2011), Additional Director, Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College, Ner Chowk, has been posted as Assistant Settlement Officer, Arki, Solan.
Shilpi Beakta, HPAS (2012), Additional District Magistrate, Kangra at Dharamshala, has been given the charge of Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Kangra at Dharamshala, along with the additional responsibility of Secretary (PWD) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh. She will also continue to hold the charge of Secretary, State Election Commission.
Suri Sietaj Singh, HPAS (2012), Secretary, State Election Commission, has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary (PWD) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh and Additional District Magistrate (Development)-cum-Project Director, DRDA, Kullu.
Hitesh Azad, HPAS (2013), Additional Director, Youth Services and Sports, Shimla, has been posted as Assistant Settlement Officer, Shimla.
Siddhartha Acharya, HPAS (2013), Registrar, Dr Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, has been appointed Executive Director, H.R.T.C., Shimla.
Shiv Sharma, HPAS (2014), has been posted as General Manager, Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Ltd. (HPMC), Shimla, while Naresh Kumar Verma, HPAS (2014), has been appointed Additional Director at Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Government Medical College, Ner Chowk. Chet Singh, HPAS (2015), has been posted as Secretary, State Transport Authority-cum-Additional Commissioner, Transport, relieving Naresh Thakur, HPAS (2007), of the additional charge.
Among the other changes, Gaurav Chaudhary, HPAS (2015), has been transferred as Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Kangra at Dharamshala. Vishrut Bharati, HPAS (2016), has been posted as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Ghumarwin, Raman Kumar Sharma, HPAS (2020), as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Fatehpur, Abhishek Barwal, HPAS (2022), as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Ghumarwin, and Pooja Adhikari, HPAS (2022), as Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Nagrota Bagwan. Aman Kumar, HPAS (2023), has been appointed General Manager, Himachal Pradesh Horticultural Produce Marketing and Processing Corporation Ltd. (HPMC), Shimla.
