Madhya Pradesh government reshuffles 29 IAS officers, Sandeep Kerkatta appointed deputy secretary to CM

Bhopal: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Madhya Pradesh government transferred 29 IAS officers on Monday evening. The move saw eleven officers being assigned as CEOs of various Zila Panchayats, marking a notable change in district-level leadership.

 

Amit Tomar, formerly the managing director of the Madhya Pradesh West Zone Electricity Distribution Company in Indore, has been appointed as the additional secretary in the personnel department of the General Administration Department (GAD). Meanwhile, Sandeep Kerkatta, previously deputy secretary in the Home Department, has been named deputy secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

 

Other key appointments include Sarita Bala Om Prajapati, who has taken charge as director of the Water and Land Management Institute (VALMI) in Bhopal, after serving as additional secretary in the horticulture and food processing department. Rajesh Kumar Jain, previously CEO of Zila Panchayat Shahdol, will now serve as CEO of Zila Panchayat Mandsaur, while Abhishek Chaudhary moves from CEO of Zila Panchayat Alirajpur to CEO of Zila Panchayat Dhar.

 

Dr Nagarjuna B Goda, who was additional collector in Harda, has been appointed CEO of District Panchayat Khandwa, and Himanshu Jain, formerly the sub-divisional officer (Revenue) of Lakhnadon in Seoni district, has taken over as CEO of District Panchayat Shivpuri.

 

Further appointments include Abhishek Saraf, who moves from sub-divisional officer (SDO) in Sendhwa, Badwani district, to CEO of District Panchayat Balaghat, and Anil Kumar Rathore, previously SDO in Petlawad, Jhabua district, to CEO of District Panchayat Dindori. Anshuman Raj, who served as SDO in Narsinghgarh, Rajgarh district, is now the CEO of District Panchayat Sidhi.

 

Other notable transfers include Prakhar Singh to CEO of District Panchayat Alirajpur, Vivek K V to CEO of District Panchayat Sagar, Agrim Kumar to CEO of District Panchayat Chhindwara, and R Anjali to CEO of District Panchayat Shahdol. Rohit Sisoniya, previously CEO of District Panchayat Harda, has been named additional commissioner of Indore Municipal Corporation (IMC).

 

Among the new postings, Kumar Satyam has moved from CEO of District Panchayat Mandsaur to additional collector in Gwalior. Jamuna Bhide has taken up the role of deputy secretary in the horticulture and food processing department after serving as additional commissioner (Revenue) in the Indore division. Siddhart Jain, formerly additional commissioner at IMC, has been appointed additional collector in Bhopal, while Jyoti Sharma, who was awaiting a posting, has been assigned as additional collector in Indore.

 

Several assistant collectors were also reassigned, including Anisha Shrivastava, who will now serve as SDO (Revenue) in Pipariya, Narmadapuram district, and Aishwarya Verma, who takes on the role of SDO (Revenue) in Shahpura, Dindori district. Additionally, Ashish has been appointed SDO (Revenue) in Sendhwa, Badwani district, after serving as assistant collector in Seoni.

 

In other changes, Kartikey Jayaswal moves to the panchayat and rural development department as undersecretary, Vishal Dhakad has been assigned to the forest department as undersecretary, and Sonali Dev will now serve as SDO (Revenue) in Bichia, Mandla district.

 

Finally, with G V Rashmi embarking on a one-year study tour, the additional charge of secretary in the personnel department of GAD has been handed over to M Selvendram, who is already the secretary of the farmer welfare and agriculture development department. /BI
