Kolkata: The West Bengal government has appointed two IAS officers to the Chief Minister’s Office as the Suvendu Adhikari-led administration continues restructuring key positions in the state bureaucracy.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, P Promoth, a 2019-batch IAS officer, and Navneet Mittal, a 2020-batch IAS officer, have been appointed as Joint Secretaries in the Chief Minister’s Office.
Prior to the new assignment, P Promoth was serving as Joint Secretary in the MSME and Textiles Department, while Navneet Mittal was posted as Additional District Magistrate of Paschim Medinipur.
