Bhopal: As many as six IAS officers have been transferred in Madhya Pradesh with immediate effect with Raghvendra Kumar Singh, a 1997-batch officer, having been posted as Principal Secretary, Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Department.

According to an official order, Singh has also got the additional charge of Commissioner, Technical Education while Mukesh Chand Gupta, 1998 batch officer, has been shifted and appointed Commissioner-cum-Director, Town and Rural Investment, Bhopal. He will also have the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Planning, Economic and Statistics.

Ajit Kumar, 2002 batch IAS officer, has been posted as Secretary, Finance Department and Managing Director (MD), The Provident Investment Company Limited, Mumbai while Gyaneshwar B Patil, 2003 batch officer, has been appointed Commissioner, Accounts and Treasury and Ex-officio Secretary, Finance Department.

Lokesh Kumar Jatav, an IAS officer of 2004 batch, has been moved and posted as Commissioner, Excise Tax, Indore, with the additional charge of MD, Madhya Pradesh Finance Corporation while Abhijeet Agrawal, 2010 batch officer, has been transferred and appointed Deputy Secretary, Finance. /BI/
