New Delhi: Bharat Dynamics Limited has received a Rs 2,095.70 crore order from the Ministry of Defence for the supply of Invar Anti-Tank Missiles to the Indian Army. The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing to the BSE and NSE.

The order is classified as a domestic contract and will be executed over three years. BDL said the terms of the agreement will remain confidential due to national security requirements.

The Invar Anti-Tank Missile is fired from the gun barrel of a T-90 tank and is designed to destroy armoured vehicles equipped with Explosive Reactive Armour. The system is intended to strengthen the Army’s capability to engage and neutralise armoured targets with greater accuracy.

BDL clarified that the contract has no promoter or group company involvement and does not fall under related-party transactions. Headquartered in Hyderabad, the company is one of India’s primary producers of strategic defence equipment and a key supplier of guided missile systems and allied equipment to the armed forces.
