New Delhi: Bikano, the popular packaged foods brand from Bikanervala Foods Pvt Ltd, celebrated Raksha Bandhan on Monday with underprivileged children at Maika Sweet Home Orphanage in Najafgarh and Narela, New Delhi. This event marks the third consecutive year that Bikano has chosen to share the festive joy with children from the NGO.
Inspired by the smiles and happiness of the children, Bikano has made it a tradition to celebrate Raksha Bandhan with them. Manish Aggarwal, Director of Bikano, Bikanervala Foods Pvt Ltd, expressed that witnessing the joy on the children’s faces brings them back every year. He emphasised that this celebration has become an integral part of their annual festivities, highlighting the true spirit of Raksha Bandhan and the positive impact of small gestures on the lives of these children.
This initiative is a key element of Bikano’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals, which focus on reaching out to all segments of society and spreading happiness, especially during festivals. Kush Aggarwal, Head of Marketing at Bikano, elaborated on the company’s CSR vision, stating that their agenda goes beyond business to touch lives and spread joy where it is most needed. He noted that sharing their products with those who may not usually have access to them aligns with Bikano’s mission to promote a sense of belonging and happiness among these children.
The Marketing team from Bikano participated in the event, engaging with more than 200 children at the orphanage. The celebration included the distribution of Bikano’s popular Fatax range products, Soan papdi, namkeen, and drinks. /BI
