Amrit Udyan to open for public from February 2, 2025

New Delhi: The Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be open for public viewing from February 2 to March 30, 2025. The garden will be accessible six days a week, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with Mondays reserved for maintenance. The Udyan will also remain closed on certain days: February 5 due to Delhi Legislative Assembly polling, February 20 and 21 for the Visitors’ Conference at Rashtrapati Bhavan, and March 14 in observance of Holi.

Visitors can enter and exit the garden through Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, located near the intersection of North Avenue and Rashtrapati Bhavan. For added convenience, shuttle bus services from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35 will run every 30 minutes between 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

The Udyan will be open to special categories on specific days. March 26 will be dedicated to differently-abled individuals, March 27 to personnel of defence, paramilitary, and police forces, March 28 to women and tribal women’s self-help groups, and March 29 to senior citizens.

Entry to the garden is free, and visitors can book their tickets online at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in. Walk-in entry is also permitted.

As part of the Amrit Udyan celebrations, Rashtrapati Bhavan will host the "Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav" from March 6 to 9, 2025. This year's festival will highlight the rich cultural heritage and traditions of Southern India.
