New Delhi: With both CLAT and AILET Rank 4 going to his students, corporate-professional-turned-mentor Nishant Prakash on Thursday announced that 70 of his 78 students had qualified in India’s two toughest law entrance examinations, with nine securing positions in the top 100.
The declaration of CLAT 2026 and AILET 2026 results has set off the next phase of admissions to India’s premier law universities, once again underscoring the intense national competition among aspirants.
Against this backdrop, students trained at Nishant Prakash Law Classes (NPLC) posted a strong, widely distributed set of national ranks across both examinations, reinforcing the institute’s consistent presence at the top. Of the 78 candidates from NPLC, 70 qualified in either CLAT or AILET.
In CLAT 2026, one NPLC student featured in the top 10, two in the top 100, 15 in the top 200, and another 15 in the top 300. Arshnoor Singh led with AIR 4, followed by Aarav Sachdeva (AIR 30). Other top scorers included Yamya Alag (103), Arnav Jain (106), Mayra Desai (117), Fiona Agarwal (127), Daiwik Khattar (136), Samarth Kumar (137), Siddhant Rohit (138), Medhini Srinath (139), Arjav Jain (158), Yatharth Bansal (180), Aryan Gupta (187), Aryan Singh (198), Vanshika Goyal (201), Yatharth Tyagi (219), and Sara (236).
In AILET 2026, one student was in the top 10, seven in the top 100, and another eight under AIR 200. Siddhant Rohit secured AIR 4, followed by Aryan Gupta (22), Nandini Gupta (43), Aarav Sachdeva (68), Yamya Alag (69), Samarth Kumar (74), and Medhini Srinath (86).
NPLC, widely regarded as the “Super 30 of Law Entrances”, runs on an intensive mentor-led model anchored personally by Nishant Prakash. Only 80 students are admitted annually from hundreds of applicants, ensuring personalised attention and deep academic engagement. Over the past decade, more than 95% of NPLC students have secured admission to leading law schools in India and abroad.
Commenting on the results, Nishant Prakash said, “Law entrance exams test far more than knowledge, they demand reasoning, clarity of thought, and emotional balance. A graduate of National Law University, Raipur, Prakash has previously worked with leading law firms including Luthra and Luthra Law Offices, trained under eminent legal experts, authored over 50 publications in national journals, and contributed to policy efforts, from advising NITI Aayog on legal education reforms to serving on the National Education Policy implementation committee in Assam.
Aarav Sachdeva, who ranked in the top 100 in both exams, added, “NPLC’s personalised feedback sharpened my analytical approach and exam strategy. It made all the difference.”
Siddhant Rohit, AILET AIR 4, also from Delhi, said, “The emphasis on accuracy, strategy, and exam temperament helped me stay calm. Each session reinforced logical thinking, making AILET far less daunting.”
NPLC operates without external faculty or advertising, keeping batches small to ensure close mentorship. Admissions typically fill within a day, with students joining from diverse social and economic backgrounds.
