New Delhi: As many as 20 Indian Police Service (IPS) officers will be empanelled as Additional Director General of Police (ADGs) for posting at the Centre after the nod of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. They are IPS officers of 1993 batch.

They are Amit Garg and Mahesh Dixit of Andhra Pradesh cadre, Arvind Kumar and Sunil Kumar Jha of Bihar cadre, Gyanendra Singh Malik of Gujarat cadre, Anurag Garg and Rithwik Rudra of Himachal Pradesh cadre, and Alok Kumar Mittal of Haryana cadre.

The other officers are Sanjay Saxena of and Archana Tyagi of Maharashtra cadre, while Sonali Mishra of Madhya Pradesh cadre, and GHP Raju of Assam-Meghalaya cadre.

According to an official order, the other officers are Rajeev Sabharwal, SB Shiradkar, Sanjay Singhal, and Vitul Kumar, all of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Praveer Ranjan and Deepak Kumar are of UT cadre. /BI/
