New Delhi: On the occasion of the 11th International Day of Yoga, BSF organised a mega Yoga Sangam programme following the Common Yoga Protocol (CYP) at its Nizamuddin facility in New Delhi. Daljit Singh Chawdhary, DG BSF, attended the event as chief guest and participated in the session with troops and their families.

More than 400 bordermen and family members, led by the DG, joined the morning Yoga Sangam programme to celebrate International Day of Yoga 2025, themed “Yoga For One Earth, One Health”. The session was conducted by trained BSF yoga instructors and aimed to promote physical fitness and mental and spiritual well-being through yoga. Yoga has played an important role in enhancing the mental and physical strength of BSF personnel, enabling them to perform their duties efficiently in tough and demanding conditions.

The International Day of Yoga was celebrated at all BSF locations, including Frontier Headquarters, Sector Headquarters, Battalion Headquarters, training institutions and border outposts.
