NHAI launches 'Rajmargyatra' mobile app to enhance National Highway user experience

New Delhi: The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has unveiled 'Rajmargyatra,' a citizen-centric unified mobile application on August 3. The user-friendly app, available for download on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store, empowers travelers with comprehensive information on Indian National Highways and offers an efficient complaint redressal system. Currently available in Hindi and English, 'Rajmargyatra' aims to create a seamless, user-friendly experience for highway users, fostering a safer and more enjoyable journey on Indian National Highways.

The 'Rajmargyatra' app serves as a one-stop repository of essential information for National Highway users. It provides real-time weather conditions, timely broadcast notifications, and access to details about nearby toll plazas, petrol pumps, hospitals, hotels, and other essential services, ensuring a smooth and safe journey on National Highways.

One of the key features of the app is its hassle-free complaint redressal system. Users can easily report highway-related issues, attaching geo-tagged videos or photos for better clarity. The registered complaints will be addressed in a time-bound manner, with system-generated escalations to higher authorities in case of any delays. This mechanism guarantees transparency and accountability in addressing user concerns.

'Rajmargyatra' also integrates seamless FASTag services with various bank portals. Users can conveniently recharge their FASTags, avail monthly passes, and access other FASTag-related banking services within a single platform. This integration simplifies the process for highway travelers, eliminating the need to navigate multiple platforms for FASTag-related services.

To promote responsible and safe driving behavior, the app also provides over-speeding notifications and voice assistance. These features encourage users to drive responsibly and adhere to traffic regulations, ensuring a safer environment for all highway users.

With the launch of 'Rajmargyatra,' NHAI aims to enhance the overall highway user experience and make travel on Indian National Highways more user-friendly, efficient, and enjoyable. By leveraging technology and incorporating user feedback, the NHAI strives to create a seamless journey for all travelers, reaffirming its commitment to fostering a safer and more connected transportation network across India.
