Kolkata: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah is visiting South Bengal Frontier, BSF today. During this visit, he will inaugurate BSF's 06 modern floating BOPs Sutlej, Narmada, Kaveri, Ganga, Sabarmati, Krishna and Boat Ambulance stationed in the Sunderban waters.  

After inaugurating the floating BOP, the Home Minister will also lay the foundation stone of Maitri Sangrahalaya (Museum) located at BOP Hardaspur. The number of floating BOPs has been increased to enhance the surveillance in the inaccessible areas of Sunderbans of West Bengal.  

Apart from this, Boat Ambulance is also being commenced to provide medical assistance in this inaccessible area of Sundarbans from Saheb Khali to Shamsher Nagar. /BI/
