Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar interacts with Indian Forest Service Probationers

New Delhi. In an interaction with the Indian Forest Service probationers of the 2022-24 batch at Parliament House on Monday, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar emphasized the critical role of discipline and decorum in the growth and prosperity of any country or system. He highlighted that compromising on these values could severely impact the functioning of institutions.

Calling for a zero-tolerance approach towards any lack of decorum, he emphasized that embracing this principle can lead to dramatic positive changes.

Speaking passionately about the harmonious coexistence between man and his environment, the Vice President urged the young officers to dedicate themselves to striking a judicious balance between development and the conservation of Mother Nature. He also called for sensitivity while engaging with forest dwelling communities and urged the probationers to initiate a Jan Andolan (people's movement) to raise awareness about the importance of nature conservation.

Highlighting the significance of Fundamental Duties, Vice President Dhankhar stressed that following these duties requires only intent and can have a revolutionary impact without requiring significant investments or physical effort.
